Art on the Clothing
The Chestnut design on this Classy Women Tee is an ode to Julie de Graag, an inspiring Dutch draftsman, painter, and graphic artist at the turn of the 19th century. De Graag was heavily influenced by nature, and therefore you find beautiful flowers, leaves and animal studies in her paintings and drawings. She is most well known for her art nouveau style woodcuts which she produced using end grain, a timber difficult to work with which produces much cleaner prints.
